A multimedia mega canvas featuring five custom content capsules transforms Incheon International Airport Terminal 2.
Incheon International Airport’s first collaboration with Moment Factory contributed to the expansion of its Terminal 2 Departure Hall, with signature multimedia content developed for a standout installation that serves as a focal point in the passenger journey. The project team included Incheon International Airport Corporation, creative content group SIGONGtech, and project manager Vinyl-I.
Framing the Terminal 2 departure gates, two curved, 16K LED screens form a digital megacanvas, immersing passengers in dynamic video content that can be appreciated from multiple angles. The immense size and scope of the screens challenged the project team to push both creative and technical limits, resulting in an innovative final outcome.
Video content features five original capsules inspired by the airport’s vision to create a sense of place, showcase art and culture, and share its core values. Passengers are transported to fantastical worlds that showcase Korea’s cultural heritage, natural landscapes, and dedication to a sustainable future. The custom-made content was crafted through 3D animation and live-action performances, resulting in original works of digital art.
